Cancellation Policy
This policy applies to all bookings made through driyve.com. If anything below is unclear, contact the owner directly using the details in the site footer — we would rather answer a question than leave you guessing.
Free cancellation window
Cancellations made more than six (6) hours before your scheduled pickup time are free of charge. If you paid by card, the full fare is refunded automatically to your original card; refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank. Cash bookings cancelled in this window are simply closed at no cost.
Late cancellations
Cancellations made less than six hours before pickup fall outside the free window and are not eligible for the automatic self-service refund, because the time slot has typically been held for you and can no longer be re-booked. The self-service link is disabled inside this window; to request an exception — for a genuine emergency, for example — contact the owner directly. Any waiver of a late-cancellation charge is at the owner’s sole discretion.
No-shows
If the chauffeur arrives at the agreed location and the passenger cannot be reached within a reasonable wait (and is more than 30 minutes past the scheduled pickup with no contact), the booking is treated as a no-show and the full fare may be charged. For airport pickups we monitor your flight and adjust for delays, so a late flight is not a no-show — please just keep your contact details accurate.
How to cancel
The fastest way to cancel is the secure cancellation link included in your booking confirmation email, which is unique to your booking and requires no login. You may also cancel by contacting the owner directly by phone or email using the details in the footer of this website. Once a cancellation is processed you will receive written confirmation.
Owner-initiated cancellations
In the rare event DRIYVE must cancel a confirmed booking — for severe weather, a mechanical issue, illness, or another circumstance beyond our control — you will receive a full refund, and we will do everything reasonably possible to arrange a suitable alternative. We will always notify you as early as we can.
